As we grow and mature we realize soon enough that :
IMPERMANENCE IS THE MOST AND ONLY PERMANENT FACT IN OUR EXISTENCE ON THIS PLANET.
12-02 If all of humanity is bowing in one form or another to Jerusalem in prayer, take the town out from the center and look, all humankind are bowing to one another.
12-11-02 I have been long awaiting this day, but as soon as it comes, its very nature is to be gone to join all the elements of time passed. So no more longing for this old shaman, just HERE, NOW, the ever perpetual present where all times begin and end, here and now.
12-12-02 Today I watched a documentary on ADHD on PBS, my blood boils when I see all these so called scientist and psychiatrist talk about a state of mind created solely through diet and environmental factors as if it is a dysfunction of the brain through some mysterious phenomenon!! and not one mention the role of overuse of sugar and processed starch in these kids dietary intake throughout the day. it is not like the effects of sugar imbalance is not known! yet they go on babbling about the miracle drug which once we find it we will have no more ADHD.
12-13-02 We are at the edge of the age of destruction, tell me over and over and over again my friend, that we are not, at the edge of destruction!
12-14-02- Cortisol levels are increased in the blood by stress which in turn raises the blood sugar and creates inflammation which in turn causes disproportionate distribution of fat cells in our body, dulls our skins, and slows down brain function! So next time you decide to hold on to a bad feeling, remember you are also gaining weight and killing brain cells.
12-15-02 It is so easy to be amongst the numbers of those adding to the negativity of our world, everyone knows how to complain and moan and groan about all that is wrong, let us the few, the good children of our father in heaven, be the voice and picture of a life lived in pursuit of harmony and patience, peace and humility, and always thankfully giving. Try this if you will, give up complaining about anything for one day and see the world around you change! we create our world daily!
12-16-02 When we see mountains as just rocks, and oceans as water, we have failed to see the living entities who are as much a part of our lives as our very own eyes! do not go blindly into the night good son!
12-17-02 A great sage was asked repeatedly by the students about the reason for creation, his final answer was, " If I tell you that God wanted to know himself, would you accept the answer?"
12-18-02 To sleep, perchance to dream, perhaps to mess with reality! ahh... if we could all see with the eyes of the wise and feel with the hearts of innocence once again! Time is forever moving onward and waits for no one, hark ye angels of God and live every moment courageously!
12-19-02 Some have asked me about just how does one go about praying, meditation or any of the several means of elevating one's state of mind, I say just show up! there is really no doing here, you show up at the door of the Omnipotent, Omniscient and just sit! quietly, twice a day and let the force of God the creator do the doing for you. just show up everyday!
12-20-02 A blossom is not a flower until it opens up, a caterpillar is not a butterfly until it dies, a man is not whole until he is enlightened and resolved. KEEP THE INTENT ALIVE AND THE DESIRE STRONG!
12-21-02 As long as humans are caught up in national pride, flags, and symbols, we have deemed the whole of human race homeless in the skies! I pray for the day when we, like the birds and the fish, can move about our planet without having to produce "documents". Alas! sleepy hollows rule the sleepy heads in a the quest for empty seats of power!
12-22-02 If I had my way I'd have a national grievance and clearing day, I'd call it NATIONAL HARMONY DAY! a day when everyone would come together in the elder of the family's home, with only one thought on their mind, "no matter what today, I will totally let go of all harmful thoughts, feelings, and actions about any person, thing, or place! I will air my grievances openly, courageously, and most honestly, as if to let them free out of the prison of my heart and head where I've held them for so long they have become part of me! today, I will lighten my load, and accept all as is, forgive and most of all; TRUST MY FATHER IN HEAVEN AS BEING FULLY IN CHARGE , OMNIPRESENT, OMNISCIENT, FAIR!
12-23-02 I have fought many battles in many dimensions, none can compare in intensity with the one I fight within me every day! I take this one to bed with me and wake up to face it again, the black dog in me!
12-24-02 Warring sides tend to become more righteous onto their own values(uniting the nation) and as they build upon this notion, the other side is always more evil! now we have a common enemy, we are united.
12-25-02 Every holiday I cook for about 400 people their "traditional" holiday meals. for me it is just another day at work, happy holidays to you all believers!! We appreciate your business.
12-26-02 If we looked with the eyes of love and wisdom at our world, we would soon notice how truly similar we are and how much more we have in common than not! and the blood that runs in our veins if traced back far enough came from the same parents sorta, kinda, ha? whaaat? yes it did! now put this in your judgment pipe and smoke it a while.
12-27-02 We thought that the whole world runs on our western clock when the year 2000 rolled around. We have not yet learned the lesson well that it does not and never did ! There are older and more civilized cultures on the planet if we just humble our selves long enough to learn what we do not understand. Alas! I see no such wisdom on the Capital Hill. 12-28-02 What is the true meaning of power? in my humble openion true power is gained only thru patience, knowledge, and self control. Know your self and you will know your God!
12-30-02 " GOD; GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE, THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN, AND THE WISDOM LORD TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE." the serenity prayer from AA.
12-31-02 Y2K3 is now upon us, time to make amends and God willing learn how to let go of hate and negativity. Tough lesson for the 21st century. I personally have to start with my own as do all of you, let the world do what the world does, a good Gardner lives here this day to grow a good crop.
